Rooted in the region, mindful and responsible - our approach to sustainability

Sustainability at the Goldener Löwe

For us, sustainability begins with being mindful of the world around us. We feel a deep connection to our home region and its unique natural surroundings. That's why we want to do our part to conserve resources, use energy more consciously and make our business increasingly sustainable and environmentally friendly, one step at a time.

For today and tomorrow

Our contribution

Many of these measures are already part of everyday life at the Löwe:

Solar energy

Our 60 kW photovoltaic syste m generates renewable electricity right here on the premises.

E-mobility

Two electric vehicle charging points in our car park make it easy for guests to arrive by electric car.

Mountain spring water

Our drinking water comes directly from Nauders and is served in glass bottles, helping us avoid plastic and unnecessary transport.

Heat recovery

We use waste heat from our refrigeration systems to heat water.

Cleaning with care

A specially tailored hygiene solution helps us reduce our use of detergents and cleaning products.

Sustainable packaging

We use biodegradable packaging for takeaway food.

Less laundry

By choosing not to use tablecloths in our à la carte restaurant, we save water, energy and cleaning products.

Energy efficiency

Throughout the building, we predominantly use energy-efficient lighting.
